Pictansu

Data deletion

Pictansu has no account, so there is no account to delete. Your photos and videos live only in two places you control, and RevenueCat keeps one pseudonymous record:

1. Data on your device

Deleting the App deletes the local vault (your encrypted photos, videos and settings). Export anything you want to keep first — it cannot be recovered afterwards unless you have a backup.

  • iPhone: touch and hold the Pictansu icon → Remove App → Delete App.
  • Android: Settings → Apps → Pictansu → Uninstall.

2. Backups in your cloud

Backups are stored in your own account and only you can delete them.

  • Google Drive: open Google Drive, find the Pictansu backup folder and delete it, then empty the Bin. To remove the App's access, go to your Google Account → Security → Third-party connections → Pictansu → Delete connections.
  • iCloud Drive: on iPhone, Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Storage → Pictansu → Delete Data.

3. RevenueCat record

RevenueCat, our purchase-verification service, keeps a pseudonymous record: a random ID, technical device details (on iPhone and iPad, including Apple's identifier for vendor) and the store receipt if you bought something. The record can exist even if you never bought anything, because RevenueCat starts when the App launches.

If you bought the lifetime unlock: email admin@slothlab.app with your App Store or Google Play order ID. We will delete the record within 30 days. This does not cancel or refund the purchase; restoring the purchase later creates a new record.

If you never bought it: there is no order ID, and because the record has no name or email we usually can't match it to you. Deleting the App stops anything further being sent. Email us if you have questions.

Purchases

Deleting data does not affect your lifetime purchase; it can be restored later through the App Store or Google Play.
